This week hasn't gone as well for the Dodgers as we had hoped, mostly due to the fact that the Rockies refuse to lose. But as we head into the final weekend of the regular season, the Dodgers have a chance to win the division, win the second Wild Card spot, or miss the postseason. Jeff and Vince are here to talk about what should be an exciting (and hopefully not heartbreaking) weekend.

In the past few weeks, the Dodgers have struggled against the Mets and the Reds, two bad teams. But four times they've faced a team they were battling in the division or the Wild Card, and all four times they've come through. The latest example is a three-game sweep of the Rockies to turn a 0.5-game deficit into a 2.5-game lead in the NL West.

Jeff and Vince spent most of this episode answering your questions. A lot of great questions led to a lot of great discussion. We also looked at this date in 1959, a game in which Sandy Koufax was pulled because he couldn't throw a strike.

The Dodgers haven't been in a pennant race this late in the season in a long time. Vince Samperio and Jeff Snider are here to talk about what's going on. We talked about the crowded outfield, shuffling in the starting rotation, the team's offseason plans, and a ton of other things. We also went back in time to this date in 1963, when Phillies catcher Bob Oldis had two of his five career passed balls and the Dodgers beat the Phillies, 5-1.

Oh yeah, and we also discussed Jeff's amazing feat from slow-pitch softball that he had never seen anyone do before.

Since we last talked, the Dodgers took care of business against the Diamondbacks to jump into first place, then failed to take care of business agains the Mets and dropped down to second place. Jeff and Vince look at the upcoming weekend series against the first-place Rockies, along with several other topics.

We also did a Sporcle quiz: Can you name the Dodgers players with the most games started at each position from 1980 to 2012?
